Job summary

Childbase Partnership is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or above) at Green Day Nursery, Redbourn (AL3 7NB). This permanent role offers 20-40 hours per week across 52 weeks, with Monday-Friday shifts from 07:30 to 18:30; you may work a 4- or 5-day week.

You will plan learning activities, assess and record progress as a Key Person, ensure a safe and inclusive environment, and collaborate closely with families and colleagues while upholding safeguarding and EYFS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering EYFS learning activities and recording progress.
• DBS check and safeguarding commitment required.
• Right to work in the UK and residency within commutable distance.

Responsibilities

• Create learning opportunities and plan engaging activities.
• Observe and assess children as the Key Person and record progress.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and promote safeguarding.
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues with clear communication.

Education

DfE approved early years qualification (Level 2 or above)

Experience with EYFS planning/assessments
