Job summary

Odin Recruitment Group is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for an early years setting in Hildenborough, near Tonbridge, Kent. The role is full-time (40 hours across four or five days) with a salary of £28,000–£30,000 per year, depending on experience.

You will provide high-quality care, deliver engaging activities, observe and support development, and work within the EYFS framework, building strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Must have a full and relevant Level 3 early years or childcare qualification.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
• Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children.
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Observing, assessing and recording children’s development.
• Working effectively within the EYFS framework.
• Acting as a key person and building trusted relationships with families.
• Supporting children's individual needs, interests and development.
• Maintaining a safe, welcoming and stimulating room environment.
• Following safeguarding, health and nursery procedures and collaborating with colleagues.
