Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a Dartford nursery that cares for children from 6 weeks to 5 years. They are looking for a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join on a long-term basis from September, providing a safe, inclusive environment where children learn through play.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, experience with the age group, a good understanding of EYFS, and a strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Experience with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS.
• Ability to lead purposeful play and take responsibility for key children.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge to keep children safe.
• Positive and inclusive approach to supporting children.

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nursery in Dartford that supports children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. The setting is looking for a dedicated Nursery Practitioner who can provide a safe and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to learn and develop.

The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis from September. The successful Nursery Practitioner will lead purposeful play, take responsibility for key children, support their development and ensure safeguarding and inclusive practice remain at the heart of their care.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Experience working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• The ability to lead purposeful play and take responsibility for key children
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe
• A positive and inclusive approach to supporting children
