Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Qualified Nursery Practitioner for temporary placements across nurseries in Macclesfield. This full-time role supports children in their early years, delivering EYFS-aligned activities and promoting positive behaviour in a safe, nurturing environment.

Candidates should hold Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualifications (Level 3 preferred) or have at least 6 months of nursery experience, and be ready to join teams dedicated to children's development and well-being.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the UK EYFS framework.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with busy nurseries across Macclesfield who are looking to welcome dedicated Qualified Nursery Practitioners to their teams. These settings provide safe, caring and stimulating environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, build confidence and reach key developmental milestones with the support of passionate Early Years professionals.

We are looking for a full-time Qualified Nursery Practitioner to work on a temporary basis with opportunities for ongoing placements. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across a variety of age groups, deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework, promote positive behaviour and help create an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

The successful Qualified Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 3 preferred)
• A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a nursery setting
• Good knowledge of the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with children
• A caring, enthusiastic and engaging approach to supporting children's development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
