Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting enthusiastic Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to work in nurseries across Chester and the surrounding areas. You will care for children aged 0–5, supporting their daily routines and learning through play.

This flexible supply role offers varied placements, weekly pay, and the chance to build experience in Early Years settings. No fixed hours are required, and safeguarding checks will be completed as part of the process.

The Role

As an Unqualified Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Support the daily care and supervision of children aged 0–5.

• Work closely with nursery staff to support each child’s individual needs.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in a nursery, childcare, school, or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to complete relevant safeguarding and compliance checks.
