Job summary

Monkey Puzzle Loughton is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3+). The role is full-time, based in Loughton, with a starting salary of £29,120 per year. You will support the nursery to deliver high standards of care and education, in line with EYFS requirements, safeguarding, and strong partnership with families.

Ideal applicants will hold Level 3 or above, GCSEs, and relevant early years qualifications, with a proactive, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) or higher.
• Experience with EYFS frameworks and child development.
• Ability to safeguard and report safeguarding concerns.
• Experience participating in child observations and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, whilst ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to.
• Create inspirational learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of children through safeguarding knowledge.
• Implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
• Report any issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
• Work in partnership with parents and our partners to ensure children thrive.
• Show a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain a happy nursery.

Key Responsibilities

Essentials
