Monkey Puzzle Ealing is seeking a qualified Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team at Monkey Puzzle Ealing. This full-time role focuses on early years education and high-quality care within our setting.

You will support learning, implement EYFS practices, and maintain a safe environment for children, reporting concerns as needed. GCSEs and Level 2 in Early Years are essential, with a positive, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• GCSE grades 5-9 / A-C as baseline.
• Full and relevant Level 2 in Early Years.
• Able to ensure child safety with safeguarding knowledge.
• Appropriate behaviour management.
• Able to observe and assess child development.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, adhering to EYFS and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, whilst ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to.
• Create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
• Implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
• Report any issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
• Work in partnership with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive.
• Show a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain our happy nursery.
