Job summary

Newpark Childcare is seeking a Qualified Nursery Nurse to deliver Montessori-inspired care and education. You will create a calm, nurturing, child-led environment to support independence and a love of learning.

You will work full-time across four days with 10-hour days, following safeguarding policies and collaborating with a supportive team to promote high standards in early years education.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is essential.
• Montessori knowledge and practice preferred.
• Strong teamwork and safeguarding awareness required.

Qualified Nursery Nurse – Montessori

Salary: £15.30 per hour (Level 2) | £16.30 per hour (Level 3)
Hours: Full-time | 4 days/week | 10 hours/day | Permanent, all year round

What You’ll Do

As a Qualified Nursery Nurse, you’ll support our Montessori approach by creating a calm, nurturing and child-led environment where children can develop independence, confidence and a love of learning.

You will:

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a qualified, warm, attentive and passionate early years professional who believes in putting the child at the centre of their practice.

You must have:

• full and relevant Early Years Qualification – essential
• Experience working with children under 5 – essential
• Montessori education – experience is desirable
• A flexible, positive and collaborative approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English – essential
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and protecting children
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to complete a DBS check and provide references
