Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Group in Maidstone is seeking a Qualified Montessori Teacher to lead Montessori sessions at Townsend Montessori Nursery Maidstone. You will deliver play-based activities within the EYFS framework and help children develop confidence and curiosity in a nurturing setting.

The role requires a Full Montessori Qualification and experience of teaching in Early Years. The position offers a local day schedule, supportive teams, and a commitment to safeguarding and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full Montessori Qualification and have experience delivering Montessori in the Early Years.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
• Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others

Pay: £15.50per Hour.based on experience
Working Hours:Monday to Friday between 30-40 hours per week(option for flexibility on shifts)

Set in the heart of Maidstone, Kent, our beautiful period nursery building is home to more than 80 children each day. With three outdoor spaces and five rooms, we’re a popular and loved nursery for local Kent families. Inside our nursery, every corner is designed to inspire curiosity and foster growth. Bright and spacious interiors welcome children into a world of learning and play, filled with vibrant colours and cosy corners that encourage exploration and creativity. Townsend Montessori Nursery Maidstone is located is the town centre with great public transport links. The setting is located just off the A249 on Priory Road. Parking is available in the car park on Mill Street.
