Job summary

Newpark Childcare is recruiting a Nursery Nurse to deliver high-quality, child-led early years care. You will help children thrive, follow nursery policies, and work with a supportive team in a setting that values safeguarding and inclusion.

Salary ranges at £15.30 per hour (Level 2) with £16.30 per hour (Level 3) and £14.80 per hour for unqualified staff. Hours: full-time, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, permanent year-round.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Early Years qualification preferred.
• Experience working with children under 5 essential.
• Strong spoken and written English essential.
• Flexible, positive, proactive approach.
• Creativity to plan and deliver engaging daily activities.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and protecting children.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check and provide references.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a team member who is warm, attentive, and passionate about children’s development. You will ideally have:

• A full and relevant Early Years Qualification – preferred

• Experience working with children under 5 – essential
