Job summary

Partou Brimstage Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified practitioner to cover Lunchtime Assistant duties for 15 hours per week. You will help children engage in learning activities, provide caring support, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment during lunch breaks.

You will work with the nursery team to ensure smooth lunchtime coverage, uphold EYFS standards, and collaborate with families to support each child's development.

Responsibilities

• Provide Lunchtime Cover Assistant support for a 15-hour week role

About the Role

Partou Brimstage Day Nursery & Pre-schoolis seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15hours per weekrole of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towardsensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain asafe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
