Job summary

Partou Brimstage Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner for a Part-time Lunchtime Cover Assistant role (15 hours per week).

You will support children’s learning and development in line with EYFS, ensure a safe, inclusive environment, and collaborate with families and staff to provide excellent care during lunch breaks.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and child development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

About the Role

Partou Brimstage Day Nursery & Pre-schoolis seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15hours per weekrole of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towardsensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain asafe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
