Job summary

Partou Shepherds Lane Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking a flexible Lunchtime Cover Assistant to work 15 hours per week. You will support lunchtime supervision, engage children in learning activities, and assist with safeguarding and inclusivity in line with EYFS standards.

This unqualified nursery practitioner role offers a busy, supportive environment where you contribute to the daily care and development of young children while a nursery team enjoys their lunch break.

About the Role

Partou Shepherds Lane Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking an unqualifiednursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15hours per week role of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towards ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
