Job summary

The Learning Experience is opening its first state-of-the-art setting in the UK, and we invite you to join as a Lunchtime Assistant to provide exceptional care for children and support health and safety practices. This role covers Lunchtime hours roughly 10am to 3pm and involves delivering engaging activities and supporting local nurseries.

Responsibilities

• Join our East Finchley Nursery as a Lunchtime Assistant.
• Cover hours between approximately 10am and 3pm.
• Deliver exceptional care that supports each child's development and individual needs.
• Fulfil lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries.
• Create enriching environments with engaging activities for indoor and outdoor growth.
• Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety policies and British Values embedded in Core Advantage, LEAP, and Early Years Foundation Stage learning.

• In this pivotal role, you'll cover the hours between approximately 10am and 3pm
• Your role involves delivering exceptional care that supports each child's development and individual needs.
• With a flexible approach, you'll fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries.
• By creating enriching environments filled with engaging activities, you'll foster indoor and outdoor growth.

What We Ideally Require From You

• Experience in early years education settings with 'Good or Outstanding' inspection outcomes.
• Required - Level 2 or Above Qualification in Early Years
• Successful collaboration within nursery teams and effective communication.
• Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.
• Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation, and decision-making.
• Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training.
• Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies.
• Motivated and deadline-driven, particularly in children's record-keeping and assessment
