Job summary

The Avenues Montessori Nursery in Margate is seeking a Qualified Early Years Teacher to join our caring team. You will plan and deliver EYFS-based activities, maintaining a warm environment where children thrive and develop.

Applicants must hold QTS for Early Years and will work Monday to Friday in sessions, with competitive hourly pay and generous family perks. Sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
• Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.

Pay:£15.83 per Hour.based on experience
Working Hours:Monday to Friday - Delivered in sessions of 8-1/1-6 or 8-6.

About our Nursery

The Avenues Montessori Nursery is situated in the charming Cliftonville area of Margate. Our nursery features two well-equipped and stimulating rooms, designed to provide an optimal learning environment. With free-flow access to a garden space, children have ample opportunities to explore and discover at their own pace. The Avenues Montessori Nursery is situated on Northdown Road, Cliftonville and is only a short walk from Margate town centre. Parking is available on the roads close to the nursery.
