Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for flexible day-to-day supply in Bishop Auckland. The role involves delivering engaging maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 and stepping in as general classroom cover when needed, while upholding high standards of behaviour.

The successful candidate will hold QTS with a Maths specialism, have secondary teaching experience, and demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS3/KS4 curriculum. Immediate start and market rates of pay are offered.

Salary: £160 - £200 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Bishop Auckland that is looking for a confident and engaging Maths Teacher. The school requires a strong classroom practitioner who can maintain high expectations, build positive relationships with students and create a productive learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher for flexible day-to-day work with an immediate start. The successful Maths Teacher will primarily provide Maths cover across the secondary age range, while also being confident providing general classroom cover when required and maintaining excellent standards of behaviour.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS / Qualified Teacher Status with a Maths specialism
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school environment
