Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for flexible day-to-day supply in Bishop Auckland. The role involves delivering engaging maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 and stepping in as general classroom cover when needed, while upholding high standards of behaviour.

The successful candidate will hold QTS with a Maths specialism, have secondary teaching experience, and demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS3/KS4 curriculum. Immediate start and market rates of pay are offered.

Qualifications

• QTS / Qualified Teacher Status with a Maths specialism.
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school environment.
• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence delivering engaging and structured lessons.
• A flexible, adaptable and professional approach.

Responsibilities
