Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a pleasant, reliable and flexible Qualified Joiner to join our Mobile Maintenance Team in Greater Manchester. The role involves hands-on maintenance across multiple sites, supplying high-quality repairs and finishing work within tenants' homes.

A full driving license is required; a company vehicle will be provided. You will join an on-call rota with enhanced payments for out-of-hours work, and you will participate in our induction and progression pathway.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing, maintaining, or replacing kitchen units within tenants' flats following leaks
• Experience in repairing, maintaining, or replacing wooden fixtures such as doors or locks
• Experience finishing surfaces through sanding, staining or varnishing
• Ability to assist other engineers outside of your discipline when required

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality first line maintenance service at multiple sites across the portfolio
• Be respectful of tenants and their homes
• Report to Head Office in Stockport and attend maintenance meetings on Mondays
• Contribute to On Call Rota with additional payments for on-call and call-outs

We are looking for pleasant, reliable, flexible and hardworking hands-on Qualified Joiner that take pride in their work to join our team of friendly Maintenance Operatives working mostly in the Greater Manchester and North West.

Operatives will provide a high-quality first line maintenance service at multiple sites throughout our portfolio, and will be respectful of our tenants and their homes.

The Mobile Maintenance Team report to our Head Office in Stockport at 8.30 AM for a Maintenance Meeting every Monday morning and attend other meetings at this site.

Applicants Should Have Experience In The Below

• Repairing, maintaining, or replacing kitchen units within tenants flats following leaks
• Repairing, maintaining, or replacing wooden fixtures ie doors or locks

• Be able to assist other engineers outside of your discipline where required

This is a full-time position.

A full driving license is required, and a vehicle will available for work purposes.

It is essential that Operatives contribute to the On Call Rota - additional payments are made for on call, including generous flat rate payment and enhanced payments when called out.
