Job summary
Alecto Recruitment Limited is seeking a Qualified Electrician in Bedfordshire to join a well-established electrical contractor. The role covers installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding across domestic, commercial and industrial environments.
The package includes a 35,000–40,000 basic salary, a company van, pension and other benefits, with a 40-hour week from 7:30am to 4:00pm and a requirement for flexible working to support projects in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification is required.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge required.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent is desirable.
- Strong testing, inspection and fault-finding experience.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and repair works.
- Undertake inspection, testing and fault-finding of electrical systems.
- Complete EICRs and associated remedial works.
- Read and interpret construction and electrical drawings.
- Install galvanised and PVC containment systems.
- Work on lighting, power, distribution and control systems.
- Covering Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
