Amtech Electrical is seeking a qualified electrician with at least two years’ post-qualification experience to join our Camberley team. The role covers domestic and commercial work across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.

We offer a starting salary of £45,000 with up to £52,000 based on experience, a company van and fuel card, a 40-hour week from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and fully paid training. Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half or double time.

QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN

Amtech Electrical is looking for a qualified electrician with at least two years’ post-qualification experience to join our team.

Established in 2012, we are a Camberley-based NICEIC Approved Contractor carrying out varied electrical work in domestic and commercial properties.

WHAT WE OFFER

• £45,000 starting salary, with salaries up to £52,000 depending on experience and skills.

• A 40-hour working week: standard hours of 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

THE WORK

You’ll undertake a varied mix of domestic and commercial work, including:

• Electrical installations, rewires, extensions and alterations.
• Consumer units, distribution boards, three-phase supplies and machinery connections.
• Lighting and power, including LED upgrades, emergency and security lighting.
• Fault finding, repairs, planned maintenance, testing, inspection, EICRs and PAT testing.
• EV charging installations for homes, workplaces and car parks.
• Fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, door-entry systems, data cabling and electrical containment.

Projects range from homes and offices to schools, healthcare facilities and specialist cleanroom environments.

You do not need experience in every area listed. We welcome electricians with strong domestic or commercial experience who want to broaden their skills.

LOCATION & TRAVEL

We work mainly across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, with some projects further afield across the South of England. A willingness to travel to customer sites is essential.

Applicants should live within reasonable travelling distance of our Camberley base.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• At least two years’ experience working as a fully qualified electrician.
• Recognised electrical qualifications and a current 18th Edition qualification.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A full valid driving licence.
• Pride in your workmanship and a reliable, professional approach.

You should be comfortable working independently and alongside colleagues, communicating with customers and completing accurate certification and job records.

A testing and inspection qualification would be an advantage.
