Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions Limited on behalf of a specialist electrical services provider seeks a fully qualified electrician. The role covers lightning protection, earthing, and surge protection across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors with nationwide travel.

You will install, test, and maintain systems, document reports, and liaise with clients on site, with optional overtime and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3, ECS/CSCS and 18th edition.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
• JIB Gold Card or equivalent.
• AM2 certification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations and maintenance at commercial and industrial sites nationwide.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation for each job.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers and liaise professionally with clients on-site.
• Ensure all work meets health and safety requirements and adheres to regulatory standards.

JOB PURPOSE

On offer is an exciting new permanent opportunity for a fully qualified electrician looking to join a growing company that provide opportunities to progress with optional overtime and door to door pay.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Many different types of electrical installations
• Installations will consist of commercial and industrial electrical installations.
• You will carry out electrical installations and maintenance, travelling to various sites nationwide
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation for each job.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers and liaise professionally with clients on-site.
• Ensure all work meets health & safety requirements and adheres to regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified electrician. Qualifications must include NVQ Level 3, ECS/CSCS Approved and 18th edition. As well as a Full driving license, candidates must be willing to travel.

• JIB Gold Card or equivalent.
• AM2 certification.
• Proven experience in testing, remedial works, and retrofit installations.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and compliance standards.
• Full UK driving licence.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• Competitive salary of up to £46k per annum.
