Job summary

Action for Children - Spring Nurseries in Langport, Somerset, is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner (qualified Level 3). The role is permanent/full time (40 hours) with part-time applications considered.

Salary up to £27,299 per annum, on-site in Langport. You will plan and deliver engaging activities, build strong relationships with children and families, and support development across 0–5 years within EYFS guidelines.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification (NNEB, CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
• Knowledge of children's development from 0–5 years and how this informs practice
• Experience planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities meeting individual needs
• Understanding of the EYFS and how to support children’s learning through play
• Awareness of SEND and inclusive support within an early years setting

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children to help them feel safe and valued.
• Observe and support children's development, respecting individual needs and progress.
