Job summary

Bright Horizons Wokingham is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Wokingham nursery. You will support EYFS delivery by engaging children in activities and work with a team to complete daily tasks such as room tidying and preparation.

The role requires a full Level 3 (or higher) Early Years qualification and prior experience with children. You will use diverse communication methods with children and adults, with safeguarding as a priority, and you must be

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues with EYFS delivery by engaging children in entertaining and educational activities.
• Work as part of a larger team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.
