Bright Horizons Bracknell Day Nursery is seeking a flexible practitioner to join the Bright Flex / Bank team, caring for babies and children up to age 5 within a supportive nursery setting.

You will help with interactive play, reading and activities to support development, while enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.

Qualifications

• Experience with children is beneficial but not required.
• DBS check and safeguarding process required before appointment.
• Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 within a nursery setting.
• Support interactive play, reading and activities to aid development.
• Collaborate with the team to meet children's milestones.

Salary – Starting from £13.50 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures through interactive play, reading, and activities to encourage curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
