Job summary

Bright Horizons Teddies Loughton in Loughton, Essex, is seeking a flexible practitioner to join the Bright Flex/Bank team. You will support EYFS delivery through engaging, educational activities and work with a larger team to complete daily tasks such as room tidying and preparation.

The role requires a Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification and prior experience with children in nursery settings.

Salary - Starting from £13.70ph (level 2), starting from £14.24ph (level 3) (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We're looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Teddies Loughton nursery.

Bright Horizons Teddies Loughton, situated Loughton, Essex is conveniently located under a mile from Debden town centre and Debden underground station, and just over a mile from Loughton town centre. Our Nursery is set on the grounds of Debden Park High School and is rated "Good" by Ofsted.

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee - giving you the best of both worlds! Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we're looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children - Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
