Bright Horizons Hertford Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to support delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in activities and helping them reach key milestones.

This flexible, part-time role sits within the Bright Flex / Bank team and includes a 40% childcare discount, enhanced parental leave, a pension, and access to development programmes.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes in shifts.

Salary - From £14.04ph (Level 3) (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children - Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
