Job summary

Bright Horizons Poppetts Day Nursery & Preschool in Shenfield, Essex, is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for the Bright Flex/Bank team. You will support the delivery of EYFS activities and help children reach key milestones, while contributing to a busy daily routine.

This role offers flexible bank work with the security and benefits of being an employee, plus access to childcare discounts and extensive leave options. DBS checks apply prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable

Responsibilities

• Engage children in entertaining and educational activities while delivering EYFS experiences
• Work as part of a larger team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation
