Protocol Education is working with welcoming secondary schools in Brent to recruit a dedicated Chemistry Teacher. If Chemistry is your thing, join our team and help students develop their knowledge, curiosity and enthusiasm.

You will teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4, with KS5 opportunities in some schools, deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and work collaboratively with colleagues to support student success.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• Experience teaching Chemistry in a secondary school.
• Strong classroom management and clear communication skills.
• Genuine commitment to helping young people develop confidence and succeed.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities in some schools).

• Teaching Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with Key Stage 5 opportunities available in some schools)

• Assessing progress, providing meaningful feedback and helping pupils reach their full potential
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider life of the school

What we're looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Chemistry within a secondary school
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
• A genuine commitment to helping young people develop confidence and achieve their best
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
