Qualified Adults Social Worker

Re-enablement

Location: South Yorkshire

Pay rate: £33 per hour

Our client is looking for qualified Adult Social Workers to join the Adult Re-enablement team. We seek experienced and passionate Social Workers to join a dedicated Re-enablement team. All candidates must have previous experience in Adult Social Care, with a good understanding of relevant legislation such as the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act, and Mental Health Act. The team is responsible for screening safeguarding referrals and managing complex safeguarding cases. Successful candidates will work within a specific area, conducting Care Act assessments, safeguarding work, multi-agency collaboration, and fulfilling duty functions.

Working in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, guided by the values and principles of social care, you will support the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge and experience, you will make assessments and decisions regarding appropriate interventions. Your excellent communication skills will help establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to ensure services meet their needs.

You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes for service users. Striving for best practices, you will aim to deliver optimal results, with a passion for supporting adults to thrive and flourish. Our priority is to protect vulnerable individuals and operate efficiently.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Registered with Social Work England as a Qualified Social Worker.
  • Possesses SW, CSS, DipSW, or a Social Work Degree; creative, flexible, and forward-thinking.
  • Experience working within a Social Services Directorate or similar statutory or voluntary agency.
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement to achieve the best outcomes for individuals and communities.
  • Excellent mediation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with diverse client groups within an agency setting.
  • Skilled at building meaningful relationships with adults and their families.
  • Committed to providing high-quality services.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary, interagency environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to conduct Mental Capacity Assessments and make Best Interest decisions.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience.
Role Responsibilities:

  • Utilize specialist communication skills to achieve optimal outcomes.
