Qualified Adults Social Worker

Re-enablement

Location: South Yorkshire

Pay rate: £33 per hour

Our client is looking for Qualified Adult Social Workers to join the Adult Re-enablement team. We seek experienced and passionate Social Workers to join a dedicated Re-enablement team. All candidates must have previous experience in Adult Social Care, with a good understanding of relevant legislation such as the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act, and Mental Health Act. The team handles safeguarding referrals and manages complex safeguarding cases. Responsibilities include conducting Care Act assessments, safeguarding, multi-agency collaboration, and team duties.

Working in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, you will support the delivery of person-centered, safe, and effective social care services. Using your professional knowledge, you will make assessments and decisions about appropriate interventions, establishing and maintaining relationships with service users and agencies to meet their needs.

You will be committed to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes, striving to provide the best for children and their families, with a focus on protection, efficiency, and supporting thriving and flourishing lives.

Ideal candidate will be:

• Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
• Holding SW, CSS, DipSW, or a Social Work Degree
• Experienced in working within Social Services or statutory/voluntary agencies
• Dedicated to continuous improvement and delivering optimal outcomes
• Skilled in mediation and negotiation
• Experienced with diverse client groups
• Excellent at building relationships with children and families
• Committed to high-quality service
• Experienced in multi-disciplinary, interagency work
• Knowledgeable about relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
• Capable of completing Mental Capacity Assessments and making Best Interest decisions
• Excellent time management skills
• Qualified with 4+ years experience
