Job Title: QTS Teacher for Primary
Location: Wimborne, Dorset
Salary: £30,000 – £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated QTS Teacher for Primary to join a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in Wimborne. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident educator who holds Qualified Teacher Status and is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a love of learning in young children.

As a QTS Teacher for Primary, you will play a key role in shaping young minds and delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love for learning. You’ll work in a collaborative and inclusive environment, supporting students to achieve their full potential. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence.
  • Tailor your teaching to support individual learning styles and abilities.
  • Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels seen and supported.
  • Encourage children’s progress through effective assessment and feedback.
  • Work closely with other staff to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.

What We’re Looking For:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ECT status, or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
  • Recent experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • A strong grasp of the primary national curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • A commitment to creating positive learning experiences for all children.
  • Excellent classroom management and strong interpersonal skills.
  • A current, detailed CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained).
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
