Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Qualified Primary Teacher with SEN experience to join our partner Greenwich primary schools on long-term positions. You will plan engaging lessons, adapt activities for SEN needs, and collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and families to support every child.

This role offers an ASAP start, full-time hours, and ongoing consultant support, with access to ongoing CPD and a variety of supportive school settings.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and has recent UK primary teaching experience.
• Experience supporting children with SEN and additional needs.
• Proven classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Adaptable, patient and committed to inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range.
• Adapt activities to meet individual SEN needs.
• Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs.
• Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents and external professionals.
• Monitor pupil progress and implement targeted support strategies.
• Promote confidence, independence and academic achievement.

Are you a passionate Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) with experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you looking for a rewarding long-term role where you can make a genuine difference in children's lives?

We are working with a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools seeking dedicated teachers who can provide high-quality teaching while supporting pupils with additional learning, communication and behavioural needs.

Your role could include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary age range
• Adapting learning activities to meet individual SEN needs
• Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other additional needs
• Creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents and external professionals
• Monitoring pupil progress and implementing targeted support strategies
• Promoting confidence, independence and academic achievement

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Has experience supporting children with SEN
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Is adaptable, patient and committed to inclusive education
• Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Has a passion for helping every child reach their full potential
