Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a Midlands-based specialist contractor delivering waterproofing, concrete repairs and structural refurbishment nationwide. The role centers on commercial management across UK projects, with most work in the Midlands and regular site visits.

You will manage valuations, contracts and final accounts, attend client meetings and liaise with two Senior Quantity Surveyors for specialist training.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years' QS experience in construction.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Manage project valuations, contracts and commercial performance.
• Prepare, negotiate and agree final accounts with subcontractors and clients.
• Attend client meetings and maintain strong working relationships.
• Visit sites nationwide, with most projects across the Midlands.
• Receive specialist training from two experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors.
• Progress towards a Senior Quantity Surveyor position.
