Job summary

SGS is seeking a QHSSE Business Partner in Oldbury, UK. The role involves partnering with operational teams to promote a strong QHSSE culture across multiple business lines, conducting site visits, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

The position is permanent, located in Oldbury with one day working from home, Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm, with regular travel to SGS UK sites. The ideal candidate will hold NEBOSH (or equivalent), have experience in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Experience conducting internal audits and driving compliance.
• Experience managing incidents, investigations and corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational teams to promote a strong QHSSE culture across multiple business lines.
• Conduct site visits, audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Support risk assessments, safe systems of work and legal compliance activities.
• Lead and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist with the development and improvement of management systems.
• Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive positive change.
• Support delivery of SGS's sustainability, quality and safety objectives.
