Job summary

SGS is seeking a QHSSE Business Partner for UK-wide support across Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Food, Environmental and related industries. The role includes site visits, audits, and driving compliance with key ISO standards.

You will partner with operational teams, lead incident investigations, support risk assessments, and help develop robust management systems while travelling to SGS UK sites.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
• Experience conducting internal audits and driving compliance
• Experience managing incidents, investigations and corrective actions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, audits, inspections and compliance reviews
• Support risk assessments, safe systems of work and legal compliance activities
• Lead and support incident investigations and corrective actions
• Assist with development and improvement of management systems
• Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and drive continuous improvement
• Support delivery of SGS's sustainability, quality and safety objectives

Job Description

What You'll Be Doing

• Partnering with operational teams to promote a strong QHSSE culture across multiple business lines
• Conducting site visits, audits, inspections and compliance reviews
• Supporting risk assessments, safe systems of work and legal compliance activities
• Leading and supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
• Assisting with the development and improvement of management systems
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and driving positive change
• Supporting the delivery of SGS's sustainability, quality and safety objectives

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is passionate about safety, quality and continuous improvement, with the confidence to influence others and build strong working relationships across a complex business.

You may already be working as a QHSSE Advisor, HSE Manager, Quality Manager, Compliance Manager or Business Partner and be looking to take the next step in your career within a global organisation.

What We're Looking For
