Job summary

SGS is seeking a motivated QC Analyst to join the Molecular Biology team in the United Kingdom. You will perform molecular biology testing and ensure compliance with GLP, GMP and SOPs in a fast-paced accredited lab environment.

The right candidate holds a Biological Science degree and hands-on lab experience, with Real-Time PCR proficiency and strong problem-solving abilities. You will collaborate with scientists to deliver accurate results for global clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biological Science or related discipline.
• Hands-on lab experience from industry or university studies.
• Experience with Real-Time PCR and molecular biology techniques.
• Experience in GLP/GMP/GCLP regulated environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a Biological Science or related discipline and have hands-on laboratory experience gained through industry or university studies. You'll be passionate about science, thrive in a team environment, and enjoy working to quality standards and tight deadlines.

You'll stand out if you have:

• Experience with Molecular Biology techniques, particularly Real-Time PCR
• Experience working in a GLP, GMP, GCLP, pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or other regulated laboratory environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
