QHSE Supervisor, Poole, £50,000

Are you a meticulous QHSE professional with a strong engineering background? Do you take pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring compliance in safety and quality processes? The QHSE Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing inspection processes and promoting best practices in quality, health, safety, and environmental systems. You will ensure operational procedures meet internal and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct accurate inspections of materials and components using a variety of measuring tools.
  2. Ensure quality procedures and standards are consistently applied in line with company policies.
  3. Supervise a small team, providing day-to-day guidance, support, and feedback.
  4. Manage the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment with accurate documentation.
  5. Support internal and external audits in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  6. Investigate issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions, and promote a culture of health, safety, and continuous improvement through training and engagement.
Qualifications:
  • Experience managing a team in an engineering setting.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and creating detailed inspection reports.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and relevant HSE legislation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • NEBOSH certification is desirable but not essential.
