Job summary

Forge Talent Group is working with an established fabrication client to appoint an experienced QHSE Manager who will lead and develop Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards across the business.

The successful candidate will own the QHSE function, drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with legislation and customer requirements, and promote a proactive health and safety culture across operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a QHSE / HSEQ / SHEQ management role.
• Experience within fabrication, steel profiling, structural steel or similar manufacturing.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO Lead Auditor or equivalent qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) across the business.
• Develop, implement and maintain QHSE policies, procedures and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards and customer requirements.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments with identified improvements.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and improve quality standards throughout fabrication and production processes.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture with production and management teams.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, records and reporting.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure actions are completed.
• Provide QHSE training, guidance and support to employees at all levels.
• Monitor environmental performance and controls.
• Track QHSE KPIs and report to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement, accountability and best practice.
