Job summary

First Choice Recruitment Services is seeking a part-time QHSE Co-ordinator in Tewkesbury to support quality, health, safety and environment across the business.

You will manage ISO 9001 and HSE compliance, coordinate audits, maintain quality databases, generate reports, and drive improvements with cross‑dept collaboration. This role is 25 hours over 5 days with an hourly rate of £15–£17 DOE.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance across the company’s processes and systems.
• Ensure conformance to ISO9001, IEC and ATEX/SIL where applicable.
• Support external audits by Certification Bodies and take action on non-conformances.
• Perform internal audits and address non-conformances.
• Monitor and report on processes per quality procedures; keep procedures up to date.
• Maintain Certificates of Conformance and quality databases.
• Prepare and present Quality Management Reports (QMR) regularly.
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance with relevant Acts and regulations.
• Undertake risk assessments and implement safe workplace measures.
• Develop emergency procedures and deliver training on health and safety.

QHSE Co-ordinator (part time)

Tewkesbury. 25 hours over 5 days.

Our client is an established company who design, manufacture and supply bespoke products to support a wide range of manufacturing process instrumentation and they are now recruiting for a part-time QHSE Co-Ordinator.

Duties:

• Quality Assurance
• Ensure that the company conforms to the requirements of the relevant standards it is approved to, including ISO9001, IEC(phone number removed) (ATEX etc), SIL.
• Be available for any external audits by the above Certification Bodies
• Action customer quality-audits if required
• Perform internal audits of all processes
• Action any non-conformances found at internal or external audits
• Monitor and report on all processes within the company in accordance with the company’s quality procedures, keeping quality procedures up to date.
• Control of content and issue of all Certificates of Conformance issued by the company
• Maintain all Quality databases and Quality documented information to include Sales, Finance,HR, Manufacturing and Engineering
• Generate & maintain detailed reporting structures using Access, Excel and Word
• Hold Quality Management Reviews every 12-14 months

• Ensure that the company conforms to the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974
• Ensure that the company conforms to the requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 as subsequently amended
• Undertake suitable and sufficient risk assessments
• Put in place effective arrangements for the planning, organization, control, monitoring and review of health and safety measures in the workplace
• Keep accurate and up to date records of all arrangements
• Develop suitable emergency procedures
• ensure that relevant and adequate health and safety training and information are delivered to all staff
