First Achieve's Engineering Division has an excellent opportunity for an HSEQ Co-ordinator to join an established and growing company in the Falkirk region. Our client is a global organisation operating within various industries, including Oil & Gas, Nuclear, and Petrochemical industries.

What’s on Offer:

The purpose of the role is to assist in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the HSEQ IMS by reviewing, compiling, and amending IMS procedures and Project HSEQ plans. The role involves measuring, monitoring, trend identification, and reporting of HSEQ statistics.

We seek a qualified auditor capable of actively participating and, where necessary, leading audits internally, at suppliers, and with third parties. Skilled in performing risk assessments and HAZIDS. This role involves contributing to process improvements, working cross-functionally to implement and embed changes for positive results.

Act as a subject matter expert regarding the HSEQ IMS, assisting others with HSEQ issues, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness in recording non-conformities, hazards, accidents, and incidents. Deliver HSEQ training to the workforce.

Duties will include:

  • Motivating and coaching personnel on HSEQ importance
  • Engaging in client meetings and audits
  • Adhering to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
  • Operating and conducting activities within an Integrated Management System
  • Process improvement to achieve HSEQ targets and goals
  • Ensuring accurate and timely recording of non-conformities, hazards, accidents, and incidents

Essential skills, experience, and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Health and Safety
  • NEBOSH certificate or working towards it
  • Lead Auditor experience in at least one standard (9001, 14001, or 45001)
  • Tech IOSH Membership or equivalent: CQI or IEMA membership (working towards acceptable)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and Q-Pulse is advantageous
