Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a proactive QHSE Advisor to lead safety and compliance across our operations.

You will support the QHSE Manager, provide CDM and quality assurance guidance to project teams, and maintain the integrated management system to meet accreditation standards. You will travel across Scotland and Northern Ireland to promote safe working practices, investigate incidents, and deliver training.

Qualifications

• Level 3 H&S qualification, NEBOSH or NVQ Level 3.
• Experience in Facilities Management or Construction environments.
• Willingness to travel to sites across Scotland and Northern Ireland.
• Able to attend site meetings and prioritise day-to-day contract support.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QHSE Manager to keep Mitie operations safe and efficient.
• Provide expert QHSE and CDM support to operational and project teams.
• Implement and maintain the integrated business management system.
• Identify and minimise risk of accidents to people, property or the environment.
• Conduct investigations, meetings, audits and training.

HOURS: Monday to Friday - 40 hours

We are seeking a proactive QHSE Advisor who is ready to make a real difference! You'll be part of the drivingforce behind ensuring our operations on FDIS are conducted safely and efficiently, and you'll be a key member of an expert QHSE support team, identifying and minimising risks related to accidents and implementing strategies to reduce risk.

Role Responsibilities:

• You will primarily be responsible for assisting the QHSE Manager in ensuring that Mitie operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner,
• Provide expert QHSE and CDM support to operational and project teams,
• Implement the integrated business management system; ensuring a robust and efficient system is maintained, which complies with the requirements of the business and third-party quality, health, safety and environmental accreditations,
• Identifying and minimising the risk of accidents to persons, property or the environment, supporting all parts of the QHSE function,
• Performing investigations, meetings, audits and training,
• You are required to be actively involved in visiting various sites across Scotland and Northern Ireland to ensure staff & contractor compliance with agreed safe systems of work and risk controls,

What we're looking for:

• Level 3 H&S qualification, NEBOSH or NVQ Level 3,
• Experience working in a Facilities Management or Construction environment - desirable,
• Be comfortable with attending site meeting and site travel,
• Remain flexible and be able to prioritise day to day management and support for the contract,
