Job summary

Wockhardt is seeking a Laboratory Equipment Support Officer for its QC Systems at the Wrexham site. The role supports computerised QC systems and coordinates calibration and qualification of laboratory equipment, with full training provided.

The successful graduate will develop into a System Administrator for QC systems, including LIMS, and will gain experience across software installations, data management and end-user support in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical QC environment.

Qualifications

• Science graduate with clear interest in QC equipment and related software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Basic IT and hardware/software understanding; willing to learn.
• Interest in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical QC environment.

Responsibilities

• Support QC laboratory computerised systems and coordinate calibration and qualification of equipment.
• Develop skills to become System Administrator for QC systems, including LIMS, maintaining data, workflows and methods.
• Provide technical support to laboratory end-users.
• Assist installation, upgrades and management of laboratory software systems.
• Participate in qualification of new equipment and support protocols/reports.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory processes and systems.
