Job summary

Wockhardt in Wrexham, UK, is seeking a QC Systems Senior Technical Officer to lead a team responsible for scheduling and executing planned calibration and maintenance of QC equipment, ensuring procurement, validation and ongoing maintenance in line with site processes.

The role requires a graduate in a relevant science, solid GMP/COSHH knowledge, and prior supervisory experience. You will handle equipment troubleshooting, deviation investigations and coordinate audits with QC and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Graduate in a relevant scientific discipline with knowledge of QC environments.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or laboratory settings is essential.
• Strong GMP, Health & Safety and COSHH understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team that schedules and executes planned calibration/maintenance of QC equipment.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure equipment is procured, validated and maintained per site processes.
• Manage equipment calibration/qualification activities and troubleshoot with suppliers and QC.
