Job summary

Nexus Life Sciences in North Wales is seeking an experienced Senior Equipment Officer (QC Systems) to lead a team responsible for calibration, maintenance and qualification of QC instrumentation and computerised systems.

You will provide technical expertise on Empower CDS, undertake validation activities, ensure data integrity, and support continuous improvement across QC operations. A competitive package and pension scheme accompany the role.

Qualifications

Experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Knowledge of QC analytical techniques and instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, KF).
Experience with computerised systems (Empower CDS) and CSV.

Responsibilities

Lead calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of QC equipment.
Provide expertise on laboratory instrumentation from procurement to validation and lifecycle management.
Manage QC computerised systems (Empower), including user administration and data integrity.
Deliver validation activities and computer system validation (CSV) protocols.
Support QC operations through deviation investigations and corrective actions.
Contribute to continuous improvement in QC quality and efficiency.
