Job summary

Brightwork is actively recruiting a QC Lab Technician for an immediately available, full-time temporary position at a site in Clackmannanshire. You will support installation and validation of testing equipment and develop SOPs while conducting packaging component testing and statistical analysis.

The role requires laboratory experience, preferably in manufacturing, with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably manufacturing environments.
• Ability to interpret technical data and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of packaging testing would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Support installation and validation of testing equipment.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct packaging component testing and statistical analysis.
• Support laboratory compliance, health & safety, and quality initiatives.
• Manage testing and validation projects through to completion.

Successful candidate:

• Working experience within a similar role ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Skilled within laboratory, material science, chemistry or other scientific testing
• Experience working with raw materials, components or product testing
• Ability to interpret technical findings and communicate them clearly to non technical shareholders
• Knowledge of packaging technology or packaging testing would be advantageous
