Overview

QC Laboratory Technician

We have an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious Lab Technician to join a rapidly growing business that is a leading provider of livestock products.

The successful individual will be someone who has strong communication skills and is a flexible team player. This is the perfect opportunity to progress your career and gain valuable experience in a fast paced and rapidly growing team.

This is a part-time position and would require the professional to be on site in Grimsby from Wednesday-Friday (3 days a week).

Responsibilities
  • Sampling of raw materials and finished products
  • Physical testing of solid dose formats
  • Chemical analysis of products and raw materials by ICP-OES & HPLC
  • Writing and reviewing of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Investigation of out of specifications (OOS) and deviations
Qualifications
  • Strong GMP knowledge (crucial)
  • ICP - OES or HPLC experience desirable
  • A strong analytical mindset
  • Clear communicator who can work well in a team environment
Remuneration
  • Base salary up to £17,000 (DOE)
  • 3 days a week on-site - Grimsby
