Job summary

Quality Control (QC) Driver role at Command Recruitment. This position ensures final inspections of used and serviced vehicles before handover to customers, guaranteeing they meet brand standards and premium presentation.

You will drive vehicles for delivery or short checks up to 100 miles, collaborate with Sales and Valeting teams, and log status via dealership software. Monday to Friday schedule, with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Experience in car dealership, vehicle prep or automotive valeting desirable.
• Eye for detail and ability to spot minor blemishes.
• Disciplined and respectful handling of high-value assets.
• Reliable and able to work Monday–Friday to keep schedules on track.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-delivery inspections and quality audits for sales and service vehicles.
• Drive vehicles up to 100 miles to check repairs and warranty work.
• Verify valeting, paintwork and refurbishment meet premium standards.
• Safely manoeuvre, park and transport vehicles around site and prep centres.
• Identify and document cosmetic defects, warning lights and fluid levels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Valeting and Workshop teams to resolve issues.
• Log status updates using dealership software and sign off checks.
