Job summary

BCT Resourcing is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Driver for a UK dealership. The role ensures final inspections of used and serviced vehicles to meet brand standards before handover.

It requires a full, clean UK driving licence, dealership experience is desirable, and a professional approach to handling high-value assets. Monday–Friday work with weekends off, and a pension scheme are offered.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK Driving Licence held for at least 2 years.
• Experience in a car dealership or automotive prep environment desirable.
• High standards with the ability to spot minor blemishes.
• Professional and respectful handling of high-value assets.
• Reliable, able to work independently on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform final interior and exterior quality audits (PDI) before handover.
• Drive vehicles up to 100 miles to test repairs/warranty works.
• Verify valeting, paintwork, wheel refurbishment meet standards.
• Safely move and transport vehicles within dealership and prep centres.
• Identify and document missed defects, warning lights, or low fluids.
• Collaborate with Sales, Valeting, and Workshop to resolve issues.
• Log status updates in dealership software and sign off checks.
