Job summary

Walker Cole International Ltd. supports a pharmaceutical manufacturer in Essex with a permanent QC Analyst role. You will perform QC testing on raw materials and finished products using HPLC, GC and wet chemistry, ensuring accuracy and compliance with MHRA and EU GMP guidelines.

You will join the Quality Control lab, work with the wider QA team, contribute to investigations, method validations and regulatory inspections, and maintain an audit-ready, well-organised laboratory.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HPLC and GC.
• Experience in GMP or pharmaceutical QC laboratory.
• Experience with raw material and finished product testing (desirable).
• Knowledge of GMP, MHRA guidelines and ICH requirements (desirable).
• Strong attention to detail and solid calculations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology or related life science (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Perform QC testing on raw materials and finished products using HPLC, GC and wet chemistry techniques.
• Planning your testing workload and delivering reliable, accurate results.
• Preparing samples, standards and reagents in line with laboratory procedures.
• Recording data in real time in line with ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
• Performing and supporting Out of Specification (OOS) investigations.
• Carrying out method validations and method transfers.
• Helping to write validation protocols and reports.
• Operating and maintaining lab equipment, including titrators and pH meters.
• Taking part in self-inspections and regulatory inspections.
• Keeping the laboratory clean, organised and audit-ready at all times.

QC Analyst | Essex

Walker Cole International is supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturer in Essex with permanent QC Analyst roles. You'll join their Quality Control laboratory, carrying out testing and documentation in line with MHRA and EU GMP guidelines. You'll work closely with the wider Quality team to keep the lab compliant and audit-ready.

The role

• Performing QC testing on raw materials and finished products using HPLC, GC and wet chemistry techniques
