Walker Cole International Ltd. seeks a QC Analyst to join the Quality Control laboratory in Essex. You will perform QC testing on raw materials and finished products in line with MHRA and EU GMP guidelines, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.

You will plan workloads, prepare samples and reagents, and support OOS investigations and validation activities. The role requires strong detail orientation and communicational skills in a GMP environment.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with HPLC and GC
• Experience in GMP/pharma QC laboratory
• Knowledge of MHRA guidelines and ICH requirements (desirable)
• Strong data integrity and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Perform QC testing on raw materials and finished products using HPLC, GC and wet chemistry techniques.
• Plan testing workload and deliver accurate results to deadlines.
• Prepare samples, standards and reagents per laboratory procedures.
• Record data in real time following ALCOA+ principles.
• Support Out of Specification (OOS) investigations and write validation protocols/reports.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment including titrators and pH meters.
• Participate in self-inspections and regulatory inspections.

QC Analyst | Essex

Walker Cole International is supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturer in Essex with permanent QC Analyst roles. You’ll join their Quality Control laboratory, carrying out testing and documentation in line with MHRA and EU GMP guidelines. You’ll work closely with the wider Quality team to keep the lab compliant and audit-ready.

The role

• Performing QC testing on raw materials and finished products using HPLC, GC and wet chemistry techniques
• Planning your testing workload and delivering reliable, accurate results to deadline
• Preparing samples, standards and reagents in line with laboratory procedures
• Recording data in real time in line with ALCOA+ data integrity principles
• Performing and supporting Out of Specification (OOS) investigations
• Carrying out method validations and method transfers
• Helping to write validation protocols and reports
• Operating and maintaining lab equipment, including titrators and pH meters
• Taking part in self-inspections and regulatory inspections
• Keeping the laboratory clean, organised and audit-ready at all times

You’ll need

• Hands-on experience with HPLC and GC
• Experience of both instrument-based and wet chemistry testing
• Experience in a GMP or pharmaceutical QC laboratory
• Experience of raw material and finished product testing (desirable)
• Knowledge of GMP, MHRA guidelines and ICH requirements (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and confidence with calculations
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology or a related life science (desirable)
